We have a new opportunity for a voids supervisor contractually based in Portsmouth, covering work across South Hampshire! This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week. And will be on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. You’ll work closely with your peers across our other locations and will cover work at any of our sites in Hampshire when needed. So a van and fuel card will be provided for your travel.
As voids supervisor, you’ll line manage a team of multi-disciplined trades staff, making sure they deliver a first-class, value for money repairs & maintenance service. And that all works carried out are completed to a high standard and within agreed service level agreements (SLAs). You’ll do this by regular work in progress & post-work inspections. You’ll conduct regular 121’s/90-day reviews for your staff members, making sure any training needs are identified & that they remain fully skilled to carry out their roles.
With your focus on delivering a great customer experience, you’ll carry out full investigation of complaints to resolve matters quickly. And making sure the right action is taken to reduce complaints in future to increase customer satisfaction. You’ll also be responsible for making sure that all works are carried out in line with best value. Taking full responsibility for the costs within your team.
You’ll have good working knowledge of providing a maintenance and repairs service within a supervisory/senior position. It’d be a huge advantage if you have existing knowledge and experience of voids processes within the social housing sector. You’ll be a strong leader with good communication skills. And be results driven so we meet/exceed targets & continually improve our service. You’ll need a full, clean current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) to drive one of our vans. This role is subject to a driving licence check & DBS check.
