Providing an efficient ‘right first time’ repairs and maintenance services to our properties is one of our top priorities.

We have a unique opportunity for a voids supervisor contractually based in Basingstoke, covering work in North Hampshire (predominantly Aldershot & surrounding areas). This is a full time, permanent role working 37 hours per week. You’ll work closely with your peers across our other locations. And will cover work at any of our sites in Hampshire when needed. A van and fuel card will be provided for your travel.

As voids supervisor, you’ll line manage approx. 6 trades staff, making sure they deliver a first-class, value for money repairs & maintenance service. And that all works carried out are completed to a high standard and within agreed service level agreements (SLAs). You’ll do this by regular work in progress & post-work inspections. You’ll conduct regular 121’s/90-day reviews for your staff members, making sure any training needs are identified & that they remain fully skilled to carry out their roles.

With your focus on delivering a great customer experience, you’ll carry out full investigation of complaints to resolve matters quickly. And making sure the right action is taken to reduce complaints in future to increase customer satisfaction. You’ll also be responsible for making sure that all works are carried out in line with best value. Taking full responsibility for the costs within your team.

You’ll have good working knowledge of providing a maintenance and repairs service. Ideally within a supervisory/senior position. It’d be a huge advantage if you have existing knowledge and experience of voids processes within the social housing sector. You’ll be a strong leader with good communication skills. And be results driven so we meet/exceed targets & continually improve our service. You’ll need a full current driving licence to drive one of our vans. This role is subject to a driving licence check & DBS check.
