We are an Oxford based company running an international jobs board for academics and researchers from a small office in the centre of the city. We are looking for a dynamic and creative Account and Sales Manager, ideally with both sales and marketing experience, to lead our sales efforts, helping us grow and connect with more future-focussed, international universities. This is a key role with support from a strong team.
-You are a self-starter, able to work autonomously as well as collaborating as part of our close-knit team

-Patient persistence, with a focus on process and data, brings results in our very long sales cycles
-Your experience will include sales in an academic, publishing or a related B2B sector
-You will enjoy learning new things most days. The online recruitment industry moves quickly so we have to stay nimble.
-Expanding our strong relationships with existing clients for annual renewals and new business
-Phone and email contacts with new and existing clients to help them choose, buy and manage the best advertising packages for their needs
-Further develop our customer relationship management (CRM) and sales pipeline system
-Collaborate with colleagues to co-ordinate sharp, effective sales and marketing campaigns
-Track communications to understand client needs and identify key individuals and contact points
-Manage the end-to-end sales and delivery cycles for major clients
Skills and experience
-You will have excellent written English, strong verbal communication skills and experience in data administration for sales and marketing.
Other experience of value
-Copy writing, editing or other communications work for an academic audience, research experience in a marketing or academic environment, data analysis, additional languages
Salary and benefits
-£35,000pa depending on experience. We will consider higher offers for candidates with strong, relevant experience and achievements in our sector
