We are looking for staff to join the team in delivering quality care for children with disabilities including emotional and behavioural difficulties.

It is very hard work, demanding good organisational skills, stamina, resilience and patience from someone’s character.

Sometimes there can be very little time for breaks or rest as the children’s day is filled with activities outside of the home, or requires good planning and creative thinking to devise activities in the home which meet the young people’s sensory and cognitive needs.

There is a level of personal care required especially for the younger children who have issues with bowel movements and can sometimes have accidents. Getting woken throughout the night is also a possibility, when children are looking for reassurance, or need to be guided back into night time routine.

This is a really rewarding role as the children wait in anticipation to shower you with affection, have a great sense of humour which breeds fun and laughter throughout the home and above all else you are able to witness great progress from first admission.

To be considered for this role, please apply today.
