Providing an efficient ‘right first time’ repairs and maintenance services to our properties is one of our top priorities.
We’re recruiting for a repairs supervisor based in Portsmouth (working across South Hampshire) on a full time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week. Whilst we’ll try to keep you local, you’ll need to be prepared to travel to and work from our other locations in Hampshire. You’ll be provided with a company van and fuel card for business travel.
As a repairs supervisor, you’ll be the technical specialist within your area and carry out pre/post/work in progress surveys to our properties to determine what repairs and maintenance works are needed. You’ll prepare detailed reports on these inspections, so a good building pathology knowledge is essential. You’ll help with preparing detailed specifications for rechargeable works. With our focus on delivering a good customer experience, you’ll carry out complaint investigations and take action to resolve matters quickly.
You’ll have good overall knowledge and experience of providing a repairs and maintenance service, including health and safety processes and procedures. In particular, knowledge of disrepair claims would be really beneficial. A qualification in surveying is desirable; we’ll happily consider qualified by experience too. You need a full, clean current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) to drive one of our vans. Offers are subject to a satisfactory online DVLA driving licence check, as well as a DBS check.
