Permanent part-time position with an increase in hours when providing holiday cover for our full-book keeper.
Salary: £9.25 per hour
Hours: Negotiable but expected to be around 15 hours per week
We are a printing company based in Southend-on-Sea in Essex. We have added online communication services to our portfolio which has helped to support the business’s recent growth. We are a team of thirty with a turnover of around £2m.
We are looking for a conscientious and reliable person to undertake general reception duties. You will report directly to the Company’s Book Keeper, supporting them with various book keeping duties together with handling phone calls and welcoming guests into the company. Full training and familiarisation with your role will be provided.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Recording financial transactions in Sage 50 as directed by our book keeper (Training for this function will be provided)
Perform general office clerical duties including filing, answering the telephone, greeting clients etc.
Attention to detail
Good communication skills dealing with customers, management and co-workers
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is preferred
A reasonable level of mathematics would be an advantage
