We’re looking for someone to join our Product & Commercial team at our lively central Brighton office, where we’ve created a fast-paced but relaxed working environment.
The Product Executive is responsible for developing the product offering for our Hen Heaven, The Stag Company and Fizzbox brands. They will improve areas of product weakness whilst capitalising on stronger product areas, to ensure maximum profit and customer satisfaction. The role requires account management, conducting market research, generating product requirements, determining product specifications, contracting, and coordinating loading to sales timetables.
The position is full-time and requires travel throughout the UK and from time to time in Europe.
Key duties include:
•Manage portfolio of supplier accounts for Hen Heaven, The Stag Company and Fizzbox
•Prepare, arrange and attend purchasing trips to designated destinations, to develop and maintain a portfolio of key suppliers and to guarantee new business relationships
•Contract new suppliers in line with company contracting requirements
•Negotiate rates to ensure lowest market prices
•Analyse figures and trends for suppliers to support supplier meetings
•Manage commercial relationships by providing development plans, sales figures, account reviews and continuous support to the supplier base
•Ensure that contracting is carried out thoroughly and consistently, across new and existing suppliers, in order to protect the business from financial and reputational risk and ensure that opportunities are maximised
•Negotiate kickback agreements, incentives, discounts, special offers and price reductions
•Communicate and embed brand values throughout the supplier base, to ensure a consistent, high level of service for staff and customers alike
Required skills and experience:
•Relevant degree such as business, travel, marketing or events
•Experience within the events or travel industry
•Experience of negotiating contracts, influencing decisions and working to targets in a B2B environment
•Proven experience of building strong client relationships and delivering first class customer service
•Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and adaptable to in-house systems
