A Process Engineer is required to work within our Engineering/Operations Team to lead our process improvement activities.
You will develop and lead process improvement teams through collaboration with our Quality, Production and Engineering functions, utilizing the recognised improvement techniques such as Six Sigma, DMAIC cycle and Design of Experiments (DOE) to impact our KPIs.
Assisting in the identification, specification and sourcing of new capital equipment will be a key responsibility, as will the continual improvement of our quality plans as outlined, guaranteeing we manufacture all products Right First Time Every Time.
You will work closely with our suppliers, customers, research institutes, universities, and other group organisations to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of manufacturing excellence within our industry.
With sound engineering background, you must be educated to degree level, or equivalent; combined with the knowledge, skills and determination to take full responsibility for understanding problems, identifying solutions and implementing them effectively within a manufacturing environment.
It is essential that you have experience of delivering process improvements within a production/processing environment. This will require you to be an excellent communicator at all levels of the business.
You should have excellent excel skills along with an understanding of problem solving techniques, desirably with knowledge of Six Sigma/DMAIC cycle and design of experiments.
