Providing an efficient ‘right first time’ repairs and maintenance services to our properties is one of our top priorities.
We’re recruiting for a planned maintenance supervisor based in Portsmouth (with regular travel across all of our sites) on a full time, fixed-term basis for 12 months, working 37 hours per week. You’ll also participate in the emergency on-call rota.
As a planned maintenance supervisor, you’ll line manage & support a team of various skilled trades staff who deliver a first-class repairs service to our customers. By carrying out quality inspections, you’ll make sure that all necessary works are completed to a high standard and within set timescales. Ultimately this’ll result in our customers being happy with the work & service provided by your team. You’ll work with the planned maintenance manager to prepare the annual budget for your area, ensuring that all spend within your area is coded to the correct budgets. And that all labour costs, materials and stock are aligned correctly against each individual job for accurate costings.
You’ll have sound technical working knowledge & experience within building construction/property maintenance, ideally within a supervisory capacity. It’d be really beneficial if you have good knowledge of fire safety repairs & internal refurbs (repairs following flood/fire/water damage etc). You’ll need be able to confidently use a computer (programmes such as Excel, Word & Outlook). You’ll have a full, clean, current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) so you can drive a company van. Offers are subject to a satisfactory driving licence and a basic disclosure check.
