Responsibilities and Duties:
•Investigation of merits of third party claims;
•Telephone and correspondence negotiation with third parties, third party insurers and third party representatives to agree settlement;
•Capture of third party hire and repair;
•Instruction of own repair, hire provision, loss adjusting and investigation support partners;
•On all handled claims ensure full compliance with all office protocols, client service level agreements and client 'key performance indicators;
•Compliance with industry leading data integrity standards;
•Investigation and handling of suspected fraudulent claims.
Qualifications and Skills
•Motor claims handling experience;
•Working knowledge of pre-action protocols;
•Experience in negotiation with third parties and legal representatives both written and spoken;
•Proven ability to assess and decide on legal liability;
•Be able to demonstrate excellent levels of planning and organisational skills and team work;
•Good levels of communication skills both written and spoken.
