Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Lettings Property Manager to join their team their team of professionals working in Aylesbury. Your objective will be to grow their portfolio of managed rental properties by acquiring new business and at the same time ensuring existing clients are retained through high quality customer service.
You will be IT literate, with excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills and the ability to organise your time effectively. As well as being a strong team player you will be able to work on your own initiative, think creatively and to negotiate solutions.
Knowledge of residential lettings practice would be an advantage but is not essential if you can demonstrate appropriate transferable skills. You must have a willingness to be flexible and a commitment to working to a high standard. A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are required.
You will be working for a responsible, family-owned company that encourages professional development and will offer training for the Association of Residential Lettings Agents qualifications.
Your tasks will include:
- Accompanying viewings
- Negotiating between Landlords and Tenants to agree a tenancy
- Preparing properties for a new tenancy
- Managing and attending check-ins
- Solving maintenance problems
- Visiting properties during the tenancy to check their condition
- Administering tenancy renewals
- Arranging check outs and dealing with the return of deposits
Their offices are open Monday to Saturday and this role will involve working 2 Saturdays in every 3. A day off is given during the week when a Saturday is worked so the hours total 37.5 hours per week.
