Working within a small and technically dynamic business supporting both Windows and Mac Systems.
The successful applicant will be using their technical skills and expertise to support the company's clients IT requirements. Whilst receiving both on the job and external certified classroom training.
You will be working within a busy company liaising with clients face to face onsite or remotely providing support for all software, hardware and networking issues.
We are looking for a bright, educated IT professional who is able to provide expansive problem solving and investigative skills, owning issues from the point of contact to their resolution.
The role will involve travel to client sites so a driving licence and own Car is a must, expenses are paid relating to all journeys.
We are located within a small Northamptonshire Village with great road links to the M1, A14, A5, A428, there is free Parking at the office and the village has a Post Office, several shops, pubs, restaurants and barbers, with other villages offering additional facilities within a few miles. We are located 11 miles from Northampton, 10 from Rugby and 8 from Daventry.
Good understanding of Windows OS, O365, Windows Server, Exchange and Active Directory
Experience installing Hardware and Software
Knowledge of Wired & Wireless Network topologies
Strong problem solving and analysis skills
You should be a highly-motivated team player, able to both be part of a team and work on your own initiative with minimum supervision and to be committed to self-development. You should have strong interpersonal skills and be well-organised with a logical approach to problem-solving and responsible attitude to following procedures and record keeping. We also support Apple Mac Hardware & Software. If the applicant is not skilled within this area they will be trained.
Holiday - 20 Days Increasing with length of service, plus Public and Bank Holidays (England)
Pension - 3% Increasing with length of service
