OUR CLIENT IS INVOLVED IN THE MANUFACTURE AND MODIFICATION OF INDUSTRIAL PIPELINE VALVES FOR SPECIAL APPLICATIONS. THEIR CUSTOMER BASE INCLUDES DISTRIBUTORS AND STOCKISTS IN THE UK, EUROPE AND FURTHER AFIELD, MANUFACTURERS AND USERS OF FLUID PROCESSING PRODUCTS.

DUE TO CONTINUED GROWTH A VACANCY EXISTS IN THEIR SALES DEPARTMENT FOR A FULL TIME PERMANENT INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER.

WORKING AS PART OF A SMALL TEAM IN THE SALES OFFICE AT OUR WOOLPIT, SUFFOLK FACILITY, REPORTING TO THE INTERNAL SALES DIRECTOR, THE ROLE INVOLVES RECEIVING CUSTOMER ENQUIRIES, LIAISING WITH INTERNAL DEPARTMENTS AND OUTSIDE SUPPLIERS TO ENABLE PRODUCTION OF QUOTATION DOCUMENTS. ENTERING CUSTOMER ORDERS. COMMUNICATING WITH CUSTOMER FACE TO FACE, BY TELEPHONE AND EMAIL. IDENTIFYING AND PURSUING SALES OPPORTUNITIES.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE A GOOD COMMUNICATOR, HAVE AN ENGINEERING BACKGROUND, SOME KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE OF INDUSTRIAL VALVES WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE ALTHOUGH SPECIFIC PRODUCT TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED. COMPETENT IN THE USE OF MS OFFICE BASED APPLICATIONS IS A NECESSITY, A GOOD WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF ACT! CMD WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE.

HOURS: FULL TIME - 37 HOURS PER WEEK.
