Role summary:
Based in the London office, the HR Manager will work alongside the two Managing Directors and the Group HR Team in an exciting and varying work environment which will involve working across most key HR disciplines. This is a highly visible and dynamic role, focusing on both strategy & operational topics, helping to drive the People agenda by gaining trust through high levels of partnership both within Lawson Conner and across the wider Group. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team designing and delivering change; taking the lead in people related projects, and partnering with all areas of a quickly scaling organisation.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage the entire talent acquisition process including defining job specs, managing advertisements, sourcing and interviewing candidates at all levels
2. Independently manage employee onboarding, training and development as well as other talent management initiatives
3. Partner with the Senior Management Team to identify top people priorities and supporting initiatives with a focus on culture and employee engagement
4. Implement and oversee performance management processes to include goal setting, performance reviews as well as coaching managers on process and communication
5. Agree and implement coaching programmes for business managers to help them build high performing teams
6. Manage complex and highly sensitive HR cases, provide advice and support to managers with discretion, ensuring legislation is followed liaising with
legal advisors as needed
7. Work alongside the Managing Directors to enhance organisational structures that support the business, promote efficiency and build line
manager effectiveness
8. Partner with HR counterparties in Group centres of excellence to implement solutions for Lawson Conner
9. Independently manage and administer employee benefits and payroll

Technical Skills & Qualifications:
1. Strong ability to build trusted relationships through a professional but personable approach with leadership and employees at all levels
2. Extensive generalist HR experience including employee relations, UK employment law, performance management, coaching, change management and learning and development
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Degree / CIPD or equivalent level qualification preferred
5. Experience within a professional or financial services firm would be preferred
