We're looking for 2 grounds maintenance team leaders.
As a grounds maintenance team leader, you’ll play an important part in delivering excellent customer and community services. You’ll lead, motivate and delegate to the grounds maintenance operatives so they can assist and support you in carrying out grounds maintenance works. You’ll plan and organise the tools and equipment required for work to be carried out. Loading up your vehicle and taking the most direct routes to the sites on your established rota. You’ll also follow standard work routines and tasks on site, with scope to make adjustments in the case of unplanned events.
You’ll be accountable for the quality and efficiency of the grounds maintenance work on your sites. You’ll meet your set targets and support your Supervisor to ensure an excellent, value for money service is delivered.
You’ll bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in a grounds maintenance position, along with an NPTC level 2 in the use of pesticides PA1 & PA6A. You’ll also have a full current driving licence to be able to drive a company van. Offers are subject to satisfactory driving licence checks, as well as a basic disclosure.
