Our Mechanical repair department is looking for an Engineering Planner to support our fast growing business.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Mechanical Services Manager and look after the needs of our customers on a daily basis.
The role in brief is as follows:
- Day to day management of the departments work in progress.
- Delivery scheduling to meet customer expectations.
- Dealing with incoming enquiries.
- Procurement and tracking of materials on jobs.
- Cost management on jobs to achieve target margins.
- Booking in of jobs, quoting and booking out.
- Working to business standards and processes.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who has excellent customer service skills, good team leading abilities, a good working knowledge of industrial gearbox refurbishment, pump repairs and mechanical services along with knowledge of engineering products, flexible with the working hours to suit the needs of the business, ability to adapt and provide solutions under pressure.
