About the role:
* A range of editorial and administrative tasks
* Process and format Press Releases
* Update social media, including Facebook, Blogs, and E-newsletters
* Format files for translation
* Maintain and update a Milling Directory database
* Maintain and update an Aquaculture database
* Answer telephone inquiries
* Liaise with columnists
* The opportunity to take on more editorial responsibilities and write fuller features
* This is a full-time, permanent role in our Cheltenham, UK office
* Three month probationary period
* Must have a valid passport - may Involve some international travel

About you:
* A keen interest in publishing (and our subject matter)
* Degree educated (or equivalent work experience)
* Good writing/grammar skills
* Solid IT Skills (Apple Mac experience preferred)
* Proficient in Microsoft office including Word, Excel, and Apple Mail
* Quick learner with a mature, can-do attitude
* Team player who can also work independently
* Enthusiastic, hardworking, diligent and able to work on your own initiative
* Highly organised, methodical, with meticulous attention to detail
* Confident on the phone and in person
* Good understanding of technical material or ability to learn
* Able to research topics using the internet, email and telephone

As part of the interview process we will require applicants to provide three writing samples and take a short editorial test

* Digital skills
