We’re recruiting for a caretaker and a bulk rubbish team leader based in Basingstoke, covering work across North Hampshire. These are full time, permanent roles, working 39 hours per week. Whilst we’ll try to keep you local, there’ll be times where you’ll be expected to travel and work across any of our sites in Hampshire when needed. A van and fuel card will be provided for your travel.

As a caretaker, you'll carry out a 1st class caretaking service to properties within the community. This includes clearing bin areas of rubbish, clearing fly tipping, cleaning communal hallways and testing fire detection/safety equipment.

As a bulk rubbish team leader, you’ll help your team to deliver a 1st class caretaking service to properties within the community. This includes clearing bin areas of rubbish, clearing fly tipping, cleaning communal hallways and testing fire detection/safety equipment. You’ll motivate the team to complete work to a high standard and within suitable timeframes. Focusing on delivering a great customer experience and consistently meeting all 7 steps of our ‘first class repairs service’.

You'll need to have experience in a similar role. As a team leader, you’ll also need to have experience in waste collection/correct disposal, cleaning in a domestic or commercial environment, as well as knowledge of COSHH. You’ll need a full, clean, current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) to drive one of our trucks. These roles are subject to a satisfactory driving licence check, as well as a DBS check.
